If they cancel Warehouse 13 as well, I will be taking a personal trip to Syfy's headquarters to give them a very stern talking to and let them know the error of their ways...
pushing daisies it crowd (please correct me if i'm wrong) firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly firefly futurama smack the pony the sketch show trailer park boys (i know it didn't get cancelled) sorry for reposts but they need to be put back on the air!
Arrested development It was too smart for the lowest common denominator so it got cut. And Reaper, that was just a good show
The IT Crowd hasn't been pulled per se - Graham Linehan, the show's writer and creator, has said that he plans series 5 to be the last because he doesn't want it to turn into a "zombie series, where the show is dead but its body is still moving around". Futurama hasn't been cancelled - as I understand it, it's been picked up for a new season for 2012/13. ...and I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but I was really annoyed when they cancelled Dark Skies...
Firefly and Dollhouse are the two main ones for me. Arrested Development went before its time too P.S. Firefly P.P.S See P.S.
The man speaketh truth. Space:Above and Beyond was brilliant. Thank god i have it on DVD For those who liked Jericho there was indeed a second series, of sorts, but it only consisted of seven episodes and went a bit, strange. Robot wars was awesome but it started to go rapidly downhill after series 4 if i'm honest with 2 and 3 being the best ones. (Oh Cassius, why hast thou forsaken us Considering what others were producing at the time..............Best. Robot. Ever. Closely followed by Hypnodisc and Razer, the best piece of design-art to ever grace the arena). Firefly was amazing and it pissed me off royally. And yes, I'll bite. It's a disgrace that they never made a final episode for D&D but they did get home about five freaking times only to always have to come back because of that whiney little ******* Uni. **** the bed i ****ing hated that thing. EDIT: I agree with The Sketch Show as well. They had some funny **** on there. Especially the California Dreaming recording sketch.
They never Cancelled most of them, most of them finished. and Two and a Half Men, Nevermind the Buzzcocks aren't even finished..
Lie to me... Looks like "fringe" is in it's way to be cancelled too. I hope not anytime soon. PS: ooooo... Dungeons and Dragons too
Suprised no-one has mentioned Deadwood. It had some of best use of swearing this side of the Thick of It.
check the red dwarf website, its been confirmed. filming end of this year, on Dave around this time next year
The Invisible Man: (1st series was awesome), didn't see much of the 2nd series because I no longer had Sky when it was shown (and they didn't release the DVD's of the 2nd series); Las Vegas; Farscape; Stargate (SG1/Atlantis); Jake 2.0 (currently getting reshown on CBS Action); Witchblade; Dark Angel; Dungeons and Dragons (;P) Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors Tremors: The series
Charlie Jade The Cape The Dresden Files New Amsterdam Firefly Night Stalker Adventures of Brisco County Jr. To be honest, I prefer when series don't run so long they slowly turning in to crap (X-files, Stargate sg1, Supernatural). I just wish they would create them with a clear end from the beginning to run a season or 2 and be the end of it, similar to how it is often done in Japan and Korea. Mid season cancellations do really frustrate me though. They often don't give a show a chance to pick up a viewership. Then it is inevitability replaced by a 'reality' game show or mindless sitcom. I was also disappointed with Stargate Universe and Jericho cancellations, but at least some attempt was made to wrap it up in the final episode, though in a very poor manner.
I don't think everyone has quite got the jist of this thread I'm seeing a number of TV shows being mentioned which finished, i.e. had actual written endings, as opposed to more seasons written and planned but then cancelled by the network. There is a big difference between "cancelled" and "finished" Sorry to be a pain...
