Just to confirm you're now able to connect to the Mumble server or still having issues? Wasn't clear whether you were being sarcastic or not, heh - either that or I'm just sleep deprived.
Just stressed still not getting it to work, I wonder if ive got a different version i can't even find where to enter that info
Make sure the version you have is 1.2.3 from http://mumble.sourceforge.net/. Then click on the first icon shaped like a globe to open the server connection dialog. Then just click 'Add New' down the bottom right of that dialog box.
Afternoon all thought i would drop a line here most of you should know me from the server and mumble already but if not Hi
This servers really got to be turned into a 64 man. Tonight there were 11 of us on the server, a third of the entire server slots taken up by regulars on mumble, and yours truly couldn't join. Seriously, we've all offered to help pay towards a 64 man, sigh.
welcome to Bit-tech too many guided projectiles flying around last night, while i was on the other team [meme]Y u no on my team![/meme] more like this on the server would be great. although i must wonder if it's 64 players, it might be a different outcome because tanks can't dominate against so many infantry Greg, i was waiting for about half hour before able to join CPC, it seems to be very popular, so just be patient
Then why don't we just scrap the multiplay server, and buy our own. It doesn't have to be called cpc server...
now, now. where are our manners. as much as i'd love to play on a 64 player server, one isn't available and 32 player is more than enough. at least it doesn't turn into complete clusterf*** on infantry maps such as Bazzar/Peak. of course, you are free to venture your server renting idea, just keep in mind the difficulties ahead, and don't mention it on the Bit-tech server forums.
http://forums.bit-tech.net/forumdisplay.php?f=121 Game Server forum. ZiiP guys never advertised or tried to split community in this forum.
So he's free to mention in it in passing, along with having it in his sig?, I'm assuming you speak for the mods (not server mods). and sorry, I must be extremely thick today, can you show me where there has been any kind of 'split' appearing in the community?
look, i admit i may have crossed a line by being a mini-mod. but i maintain my statement with regards to Greg's post. end of off-topic discussion.
