Meh. I think they're taking the series too far- they risk ruining the series. The first 2 were good, Tokyo Drift was terrible, whatever the one after that was was pretty good, though- Fast and furious, or whatever they wanted to call it, the 4th iteration. Fast five was meh. They're fun to watch in a mindless, fast cars and scantily clad ladies way. Not something I wish to buy, but I'll watch in the cinema. Seems interesting that they've chosen a British backdrop, at least for some of it. As long as they don't make the Skyfall mistake of trying to impress the world (And the yanks) with our Britishness.
The Mark I Mexico was a nice piece of kit and one in good condition now is a thing of beauty. The Mark II RS2000 was the gem of the MKII's and again looks awesome now.
But if they don't keep making these fast and furious movies, what else will Vin Diesel and Blondie (is it Paul Walker?) do for a career?
Vin could always make another Riddick flick. I could care less about Walker. The last one showed Letty not dead and in Europe somewhere, so no surprise this next one is taking place in Europe. What's next for 7? Africa, Australia, middle east lol... they have already covered America, Japan and South America.
I liked TD :-/ It was better than the second opus. IMHO The 4th was correct and the Fifth was excellent. Tell me about a serie that don't care if characters are dead, who don't care about timeline ( it seems like each new opus has its own lol ). Letie was dead 'DEAD' as well as our munchkins eater Han who was seriously 'DEAD' XD I couldnt careless about how they survived (there is always a trap when you need to escape, right ? Loll) as long as the movie give me 2h of entertaining.
Nothing new to me, friend works in "film" and snapped some pic's around the set a couple of months back. Took me a while to figure out the antonov 225, they built the whole undercarriage from mostly spares and scratch for "a lot" of green screen. I fear I've said too much, and no I won't share those photo's!
Did you just put 2 Fast 2 Furious on the same level as The Fast and the Furious? I'd ask you to get out, but I've been told that's rude. Instead, can you explain how you think they're comparable? Because in my opinion, 2F2F was a tacky, poorly made piece of crap compared to the first film. On the topic at hand, I love that the Mexico is in there, what a machine! There's a local club rally driver here who rallys a MKI and has a mint condition Mexico for his weekend car!
