How dare you eat that filth! Seriously, the choc fudge has to be the best out of them all. I would say mint, but that's actually better in non- chunky form.
Just finished dinner with the missus. I had two tenderloin steaks that needed to be consumed, so I melted a nice scoop of proper butter along with a good pour of walnut oil. Then I heated the oil/butter mixture along with some sprigs of fresh thyme and a few cloves of garlic and let this sit and simmer for a while to allow the oil/butter to soak up the flavours from the thyme and the garlic. To serve I peeled a few almond potatoes, cut them in quarters and spread them into an oven proof container. Then I blended spinach, some pepper-root, garlic and ginger. I Added a sprinkling of maldon salt, a few dried chillies, a bit of cumin and some rosemary. Then I blended all of it together, stuck it in the oven at 240C and let it sit until the tips of the potato strips had turned a golden brown. Furthermore i cooked a few small pieces of hot-smoked bacon, red onion and shitake mushrooms in butter. Add salt and pepper and keep hot. The steaks pretty much cooked themselves - just slap onto a very hot pan in the already flavoured oil/butter mix and watch as they cook to perfection. About a minute and a half on either side. As I plated everything I simply poured a red-wine reduction onto the plate, and it was good to go. Utterly delicious. So yeah, that's what I ate tonight.
Get you. Over here we'd say packet, or just pack. You yanks blow my mind One man's filth is another man's amber nectar. Christmas is a great time for me, all those unwanted items of coconut confectionery. If I ever decide to dedicate my life to that of a fat ******* I will truly exploit the amount of coconut goodies going spare. The coconut kit-kat was good - quite subtle coconut flavour, none of the normal coconut texture some people probably find off-putting. But I'll give the choc fudge one a try next, just for you I just wolfed some porridge with a heavy dose of cinnamon, raisins and banana. Good ****.
Not eating it at the moment but tomorrow at my favourite place at Snoggy's near Putney to get some Boerewors. Cannot wait.
Lindt 85% cocoa dark... It's super expensive here (~3* the price of a Cadbury's slab), but I needed chocolate for the last few days. 2 pieces of this, and POW! need satiated.
Chocolate caramel flapjack... Seriously why did i only just realize college sold these in the shop??? If i knew this at the start i would probably be 2 stone heavier, but so worth it man
Bracing my body for delicious baby shower cake and snack food in the coming couple hours. It was a struggle not digging in on the way from the bakery. I'd have expected "pack" as well. Either silicon is just strange, or too much Bit is rubbing off on me. Got a mostly eaten bar of 80% sitting on my desk. Delicious stuff. Hardcore chocolate fans may call this blasphemy, but I like to take a swig of Dr. Pepper with a bite of dark chocolate, it's an amazing combination.
