    It's a UK thing, so I assume most USA members won't understand the abbreviation. Bank Holiday Weekend - all public & most private sector businesses/organisations here have a holiday on Monday.

    More an England & Wales thing. The only bank holiday I have ever had was the Queens jubilee.

    We get them too! I'm surprised to hear that Scotland don't. Even though I don't personally treat them as holidays, that's still pretty lame :/

    my plans just took a turn for the worst, im off to A+E, woke up this morning with muscular pains in my foot, cant move my toes,its swollen like a balloon and is only getting more painful.

    typical :/

    update:

    apparently its a bad case of Gout. pain killers, anti inflammatory's and r&r for the next week.

    Eh? Plenty of bank holidays listed on t'internet - 9 for Scotland, 10 for NI. England and Wales only get 8 ffs! :p

    A side-oiler is the only lump for a Cobra, surely? :D

    Just got back from one of my Uni brother's Stag do... Bank holiday recovery needed.
