start another build, this one is for me, my personal Gaming Rig Snef's Bloody Angel i need a real "TOWER of POWER", at beginning, Enthoo Primo white was my first choice but i saw new case on Caselabs store, The SMA8 i sent an email to Caselabs to know the shipping rate and i finally choose Caselabs SMA8 generally I try to search for a unique or special color combination but not this time keep it simple Hope you will enjoy it Build setup/parts listing : Case and accessories • CaseLabs Magnum SMA8 White • CaseLabs 120.2 Flex-Bay Rad Mount • XXL Clear windows • 480 rad mount on top and bottom Components • Asus Maximus VI Formula Z87 Motherboard • Intel i7 4770K CPU • Corsair Dominator GT 16GB DDR3-2133 RAM • Silverstone Strider 1500w PSU • Galaxy GTX 780 HOF (2x) (waiting for Ti version) • OCZ Vertex 4 256GB SSD (2x) • OCZ Agility 3 240GB SSD (2x) • WD Green 3TB HDD (2x) Cooling • Bitfenix Spectre Pro BFF-LPRO-12025R-RP 120MM Red LED (13x) • Darkside 480 Radiator (2x) • Darkside 240 Radiator • Darkside D5 Vario Pump (2x) • EK-D5 X-TOP CSQ - WHITE Acetal (2x) • EK-Multioption X3 250 with white Acetal ends (2x) • EK-UNI Holder D5 (2x) • Bitspowers White Crystal Links with a lots of extenders, adapters and 90 degrees • EK-HD Tube 10/12mm 500mm - 2 pack (13x) • EK Supremacy CPU Water block - Plexi-Nickel CSQ (polish) • EK-RAM Dominator (CSQ) Water block - Plexi Nickel (polish) • EK-FB KIT ASUS M6F - Nickel • EK-FC780 GTX HOF - White Acetal + Nickel (2x) • ColdZero Custom GTX 780 HOF back plate • Ek Water Blocks Fluid Blood Red 1000ml (4x) • Aquacomputer Aquaero 5 XT USB Fan-Controller • Aquacomputer Flow sensor mps flow 400, G1/4 (2x) Sleeving, Cable and lightning • Darkside Red • Darkside White • Darkside Fan splitter • Darkside Led strips • Darkside 12" ( 30cm ) Dimmable Rigid LED Strip V2 • and a lot of custom cables Mods • Painting ram • Painting Water block • Painting radiator • Painting Pump mount finally not so much mod, Caselabs generally don't need physical mod to achieve a good build I saw we can order parts for any case now, i can drill some hole in mid plate and back panel I made some test with Plasti-dip for Bloody Angel for sure the armor of the Maximus VI Formula will be white, but i don't want to paint it permanently, i will use plasti-dip sure its not the armor but give a great idea of the result and i like it , its pure white i tried on my Xonar Phoebus, Really like the result, with the custom backplate, it will be perfect at beginning, my plan was to add the original Asus chrome and red ROG logo sticker (you still see Asus) but they will be hidden same thing on Aquacomputer Poweradjust 5.25 bay, i like the results i did the same ting on my Aquaero 5 XT, but still in Sand of God now i tried to paint Angle Fittings and Crystal link C47 Fittings with regular paints i saw the price for 90 degree female -female angle fittings and $15 each not cheap (i know this hobby is not cheap) i tried to paint some in next pics, some are paint and some are Bitspowers, Not to bad, these are only test, next time, i will screw the fittings to angle before painting i painted black angle and crystal link with 2 layer of primer and one layer of white gloss What do you think? received some toys I know what I will do this week end, someone says Plasti-Dip? want to see the results of Rad with fan on it and I like it a lot like the results but its not perfect like regular paint but if I want to keep the shield intact to sell it later, its the only option available Out of town for a couple of weeks now and when I came back today, something waiting for me in front of the door YESSSSSS!!!! its Huge but I love it the Usual pics of the Box, Now, I can start the build process some pics of GPU tubing, this case is HUGE!!!! and use very little run of tubing the 6 fittings on GPU are painted one, they are exact same as original white C47 tubing is done, i love this case, a lot of place to do any loop you want Usual Cpu Shoot, but i want to show the Memory block, to much nickel, add little bit of white and the result is really good i cheated on this one, use flex tubing on bottom, why not? no one will see it Leak test and Night shoot i had a leak on CPU loop (back fitting on top rad) , my fault, forgot to tight it i really like these night shoot, still need to see with fan led pretty closed to the end Final Pics some night shot
My Mrs says it looks like an hospital but hey I love it. Cannot wait to install my Formula mobo tomorrow, they are sexy boards
this build is my favourite ever. I remember seeing it for the first time on facebook. it's got everything I like and white and red builds are awesome! especially when they're executed as well as this one
Those photos are absolutely stunning. Some of the best I've ever seen. Really loving the strawberries and cream colour scheme too.
