I guess the image is obvious, but beyond that, i want to do a casemod based in doom universe, more exactly the "hell" where the creatures live. For this reason i got material and images from doom I, II & III. I'm a big fan of the game and after know the news of new Doom something inside me revived, making me feel excited again. I hope you like it, the design has long time, and many modifications, so i could get, i hope, the best version of my casemod.

"At Doom's gate" is the first episode of Doom I, where all invasion begins. Is the first time we enter in the hangar and start shooting to demons coming from other dimension. Check to watch a casemod coming from the other dimension and possessed by demoniac flesh.

Finally, is ready... Many skulls, bones and satanic glyphs to make this casemod look coming from the hell.

For this project i'll use my old case. Was the first since i started in modding, and help me to test and try new tecniques.
Is not any of the other world, just a generic one.
The funny part is all of paint scratches, and cuts that it has, showing the learning process D:

In any case, i'm gonna make deep changes, so works fine for me.

Working with the external panels, the point is add textures from "hell" level. the front uses a common texture, door like, adding the flow entrance for the radiator fans.
First, the cardboard giving the shape and then adding the details.

The top is detailed too, adding some spikes and bones

Toying with my AIO water cooling, some ideas result. I noticed is possible use the pump, integrating a new reservoir.
Some time in solidworks let me design it, and later, test the loop.

Meanwhile, i made too a new waterblock. Soon will be tasted by demoniac flesh.

Check the stage1 working. I made a fancy reservoir to put at top of the case

I am intereseted to see what you've planned for that case.

Man , probably you are not aware of it, but a Doom based case set itself against the "Master" --->

Of course i'm awared, that casemod is one of the best ever. But as i said before, this is based in the "hell" unlike the awesome Mars city :)

Thanks, "weld on" works more than fine.

Time to paint, this time i do not use spray but paint brush, because i want some textures and details about terrain that spray paint cant do.

I honestly had no idea about what to expect when you started this log, but the paintbrushing and colouring of the water block... DAYMN SON!

This is truly an awesome build. I can't wait for the new Doom game to come out. In learning to airbrush myself this summer and recently got a full setup. Your attention to detail is fantastic.

    Modeling the Icon of sin

First, using a cardboard to shape it, then modeled with all details.

After is dry, the cardboard is removed, the mold is painted and attached to the acrylic support.

That demon bull head is fantastic. Do you think it would be possible to make a red LED inside the red gem? And have it light up when the PC is on?

    Nice!

I really should go back and play Doom 3 again, I never really gave it much of a chance the first time around...
