    27" 1440p

I couldn't realistically go any higher with the current setup. 4K would be too much.

    34" UW 1440

Would love to go 4k, but I don't want any scaling. Waiting for that perfect 38inch 4k HDR OLED monitor.

    27" 1440p.

I also find that the perfect pixel pitch for working without resorting to scaling.

24" 1080p but an upgrade to a larger 1440p is on the cards when the house stops draining the bank balance

    27" 1080p currently, will need a better GPU than a 980Ti to move up to 27" 1440p

You can only spend it once :(. I only bought my 980Ti in 2021 before the end of the GPU drought. It wasn't expensive, but I could get a lot more for my money now.

I went round to a friend's house the other week to see what 27" 1440p looks like, and it is an improvement on what I have. As mentioned it'll be the expense of a new monitor and a GPU at the same time to do 1440p properly.
It'll have to wait a bit until other more important expenses reduce, that and juggling various hobby interests!

I'd like to go to a 1440p monitor but I love the 16:10 ratio but they just don't make them anymore.

Agreed, 16:10 is a great shape for work in particular.
Our LAN host has 24" monitors for us and a mine and one other are 1920x1200, which works for me.

My boss has 3x 24" monitors, and again there's a single 1920x1200 in the middle which works well.

I still have my Dell 30" 1600p. It was supposed to be a spare and would've come in really handy when I broke my 32" monitor a while back, but I couldn't find my active DVI-DP adapter anywhere. Two days of fruitless searching, and putting up with a 26" TV as a monitor, and I caved and bought a 34" UW.

Guess what I found last week, whilst looking for my old vinyl in the loft:

I spend so much time sat hunched over a computer for work don't want to do that for my gaming. So middle of last year I moved my main rig in to the living room and mostly play controller based games. No first-person shooters tho as I'm beyond god awful at FPS with a controller so more on the visually pleasing story rich games.
