This is all fine and dandy if you live in a country where it applies...
By the way, where is the list of regions/countries where this warranty change will be applied?

This has my attention. I actually use PCs that long and might be a deciding factor for me. Of course, that assumes I can keep the paperwork for more than 10 seconds.

    It's a shame the AX760i is discontinued.

I looked on the Corsair page and couldn't find any information regarding excluded countries.

Me too - I like to get good use out of my hardware (current PSU is approaching 6 years) and inclusion of a 10 year warranty would definitely have me favour a Corsair unit over one from other leading brands like Seasonic etc.

I reckon the other big brands will follow suit soon enough.

Well I don't know who makes them for Corsair but I think they have a quality control issue, I've had three RM650x in a year and each one has died after being switched on and before anyone asks yes they are on a good circuit breaker and my home has been rewired and new circuit breakers on the DB and checked about a year before I aquired them.

Each of the PSU's lasted anywhere from a couple of months to 9 months. I only bought a new one to replace my 5 year old Corsair HX520w which is still alive in my mates machine. I'm thinking that this is a component issue as it was the same loud snap every time, no smell, smoke or anything. So I'm gonna go down the Thermaltake route.

Seasonic Prime series comes with a 12 year warranty.
EVGA also has PSUs (like for example the T2 1KW I have) that come with a 10 year warranty.
