News MySpace removes 29,000 sex offenders

29,000 registered sex offenders have had their profiles removed from MySpace after receiving pressure from various state Attorney Generals.

 

I'm betting that at least 20,000 of those people are just folks who when they were a year or so above the legal age for consent had sex with someone who was a few months below it. The whole concept of "sex offender" needs to be overhauled.

 

Even so, that's an awful lot of peados for just one website.

Edit: OK, I guess a 'sex offender' could also be a rapist or whatever. I apologize to all the rapists, didn't mean to forget you.

I would agree that is alot of pedo, now there gonna keep filtering it for the ones that are creating or have created alias accounts

 

Wont the pedos and whatnot just set up new accounts, theres only so much they can do to stop them re-regestering.
