Did they ever release a fix for the DSM users who were locked out of their data?

All I heard was that they urged people to update to a newer version, but not whether they helped those affected by SynoLocker.

There is no fix for that; once the data is encrypted, it's encrypted. Without the key, it ain't gettin' decrypted any time soon. That's the point of encryption, really.

Synology released an updated version of DSM that closes the vulnerability used to hack into the devices to perform the encryption blackmail.

However, as Gareth says, once you get hit it is encrypted.
