    Hi all

First off i did a quick search and found nothing that answered my question, so here it is.

Are there multithreaded encoders that i can use with my i5?

So i have an i5 and would like to encode an avi file so i can burn it onto a dvd, that can be played on a cheap dvd player.

I don't mind if i have to buy  the software and freeware is also fine.
