    Right quick question.

Mrs Fox works in a company that makes badges (like Texaco, BUPA, etc etc), and they use a computer operated engraving machine.

Had a look today and an idea formed in my head...... Custom windows (Professional results without the joy of 40 hrs of dremeling) and a plus it would be CHEAP!

How interested would you guys and girls be?

Made for modders, by modders (Well me most prob :duh: )

And if you are interested how much would you be willing to part with? (Realistically)

    Inclusive of:

    1. ANY COLOUR PLASTIC (Even transparent coloured),
    2. Custom designs,
    3. The joy of true uniqueness, and if you have no ideas for an image/text then you can have it custom designed for you by a qualified and experienced graphic designer (me again :duh: )
    4. Packed safely (in bubblewrap) and delivered within 10 days

So any shape, any design, and professional results.

    Who's interested?

I'd deffo be interested. Price wise about £15-20 is all I'd really want to pay for a window.

Youll get more exposure in modding and with a more appropriate title.

You say custom windows - what about cutting acrylic into shapes? How about a load of "fire" shape cut acrylic. Ive got a "tequlia sunrise" C3 acrylic case which would look awesome with a load of red-transparent fire shaped acrylic bolted to the outside of it imo. Not that i have a) the money or b) the time though, but, for the sake of others could you do it?

    Coolas, anymore??

If I get enough I'm going to go to Mrs Fox's boss and say "Theres a market here."

Hopefully he might want a 'piece of the pie' so to speak

The more people interested the better it would look. lol, plus I know what you guys want so there's a plus.

Like I said. "Made for modders, by modders!"

I'll ask but I suppose you could just set the drill for a deeper cut and just cut through the plastic.

I know they got a saw etc but I'll have to ask the boss.

imo, it may cost around £40-50 and that's being optimistic... not sure what machinery they use, but doesn't it cost £££ for single runs...

new data needs to be programmed in..
    bits need changing...
    then the etch...
    peoples wages...

not sure as I may be totally incorrect..

There are people doing cuts and etchings with lasers. There used to be a link in bit-tech's notables awhile back.

I have this vision of lasercut acrylic, and have like different coloured acrylic cut in pattern design and then another colour into another design and then they lock together to fit as one window.

3 layers, using varying depth for brightness and you could have a full colour image.

I'd be interested, at 15-20 top end.

I would definitely be interested in this. Would pay up to €30 (£20) for a full size side-panel window with etching.

Would you/they have UV reactic acrylic?

Definitely interested. Be willing to pay extra if you'd ship to the US.

    SFF can deffo be done.

And its not cutting I'm proposing at mo its etching. Its not laser cut but look at how crisp the etching is on a texaco, BUPA, Dolland & Aitchison or Britannia hotels badges (Mrs Fox does them).

Imagine that done into a acrylic sheet, shine a coupe of LEDS down side and BLAMMO!
