I agree that it looks great. I wouldn't worry about not being 100% accurate to the picture. I think it looks good the way it is. Just my 2 cents.
Wow, incredible work. It would be amazing on its own, but doing it without a flexishaft... That is just mind-blowing. You have some serious skills at engraving.
thank you but like i said if you just are very light on your hand it is possible... fun thing... have bean here sens 2003 and done litte moddings (not engraving tho) from on and off but never posted them for there have never been something special... and when I now posted I get posetive comments.... thank you it's such that makes it fun to continue
Ok, just whipped this up in 2 minutes. ignore all the extreme crappiness. Of course you would mount the "handles" to the sides of the front panel, but I did not show that in my illustration. The mirrored version is the other side of the case, imagine it turned around and you're looking at the opposite side. The tricky bit would be hiding the top portion of the CCFL so that the lightsaber 'tip' would look proper. removing the casing and hiding your wires inside the mounting hole could work.
Hey, don't beat yourself up! The mod looks GREAT! BTW: Kjøpte du det kabinettet på databutikken.com? Det noname kabinettet til sånn 200kr. Tenkte på å kjøpe det selv for å modde det.
luke is compleate and i got a packet inside this is rufly what i planing on doing (and yes i know vaders is red )
i have a question.. how to you transfer the image on to the case? i see you had some sort of paper in a shot.. is that what you used? and if it was. what is it?! lol... seems to be some small trick of the trade that i missed the memo on. other then that though, still lookin sweet!
so you would have to draw the design on the carbon paper? orr wait.. you just print it.. put the carbon paper between the printed paper and the case, and trace it? that makes sense. lol i feel slow
just a quick up date i have cut out the lasersaber (spelling?) for Luke this it whit flash a out of focus image the best image i can get from my camera
