hi! your LCD mod is REALLY impressive :)

I have a LCD in my suitecase-mod, too :) (here u can see it if u want (4MB divX) and here is the suitecase :))

I dont know if it has been already asked, but I think, the software U used for the display is as cool as the display itself :).. so where can I get that software for my 16x4 LCD?

hmm i have the borderfield software but it has problems with my 16x4 HD44780 LCD (no matrixorbital..) :( ..the rows 3 and 4 are displayed 4 chars more right (sorry my bad english, i'm from germany ;))
the borderfield software is very slow, too (the scrolling is very bad...)

i have a winamp plugin for the mp3 title and visualisation and it's very great and fast.. (video above..)

so, does anybody know a software specially for HD44780 LCDs whitch shows most of the stuff that the borderfield software shows, too... (temps, up time, networktraffic are the most important..)

hmm the LCDriver seems to be only for serial LCDs.. also it has no further options so far (like temperatures etc..)

i have running the borderfield software at the moment showing the upload, download, CPU speed and up-time, but the rows 3 and 4 are still displayed wrongly (4 chars away from the left end...)

also the borderfield software cannot show the temeratures (on my macheine...)

so plz give me links to other progs if u know some...

Lcdcentre uses mbm to monitor temps. So you need to run that as well. MBM can be found .here
Use the configuration program and make sure there are no leading spaces programmed in the up/down stream parameters. I think there may be some by default

    thx @ macroman ;)

the problem with the rows 3&4 does not depend on the values.. EVERYTHING i want to display in row 3 and 4 is displayed 4 caracters away from the left end of the display.. I think it's an error of LCDCentre because the winamp plugin works very well with the rows 3 and 4 ...

ok, thanx so far @ all ;)

As macroman says you can edit the settings so it should appear in the right place , and you need MBM 4.0 or greater to show the temps . The config program is sometimes a bit sucky you can do it all in note pad with a little look at the existing settings :)

Darn I am almost complete "remaking" that modification (making it as well) but I can't find a box that fits.

Where did you find such a good fitting box?

k, by manipulating the ini files of the borderfield software i could make the dely times much shorter ;)

but i didn't find any value for the position of the caracters.. also the values for the display sizes were alright (16x4) in the ini, but the rows 3 and 4 are still displayed wrong :(

so i found a prog here (LCD proc) .. it's a linux prog whitch i wished to have.. but i need a win2k oder winnt version for HD4478 PARALLEL LCDs... if anybody knows.....
