ok i just got this nice baby to day its an old Digital server i waws a quad pentium pro with 7 4gb scsi drives. the entire case has been striped and as soon as i find my camera i will post you some pictures of it. my plans are to make it into a media server for my music and films. i will also be water cooled. Here is a quick sketchup of my plans however these might change it is unlikely that any modding will start in the next 3 weeks but after that... LET THE MODDING BEGIN as i will have finished my exams and i will be getting a 3 month holiday
looks good, IMHO those types of computer generated drawings are pretty bad for concept art.. mabe provide a drawing (even a poor one will do) to show us your ideas
ok as for specs i have no idea it depends on what turns up at work as i work in a computer shop. the machine will be completely water cooled with: 1x Hydor L30 pump 1x Asetek CPU block 1x Asetek MB block 1X unkown GPU water block 2X cape coolplex 50 resovoirs as seen on the top of the case i am also debating wether to put an LCD display somwhere on the case or maybe even a PS ONE screen Oo and btw i cant draw but i will atempt to make somthing that looks a little better
ok ive got some specs 3000+ socket939 Abit UL8 mobo 1gb Kingston RAM DVD/RW 6600GT agp 1 80gb IDE hdd 2 120gb SATA hdds i will be adding more drives but atm they are tied up in my main server
green perspex that way when it is turned off you will still see the colour. btw your design looks good

Hows about UV reactive green? Best of both worlds So many choices...and usually so little money (certainly so in my case) I'm interested to see a pic or two of the case...looks a biggun.

ok then i have made my alterations the psu is going to to in the very front compartment with its own 120mm fan and a slash styled exhaust

So, since you mention you'll begin hacking away in 3 weeks, this thread will be in Modding until then. Not bad...I'm not such good modder, to be honest I really never tryed to mod a case more seriously. But I like the design. The UV reactive green would look the best IMHO. Anyway, mod on bro mod on!!!
ok then new update i have finally take some pictures of the original case what i intend on doing is replacing the entire rear pannel and installing the removable tray some how i am also now debating about wether to paint it purple instead of silver the green perspex is out of stock atm so im waiting for that but i will hopefully remove the back pannel asap and order the replacment sheet of alu to go in its place. the intire interior of the case is going to br sprayed matt black as well as the rear pannel
