    Hi all

For some reason both my CD drives (Plextor CD-RW & Pioneer DVD) do not auto run any software.

Im running windows XP Pro and i dont remember every disabling it, and ive checked the properties on the drives where you can select autoplay but that seems to have appliaction types and programs to use.

Basically if i were to stick a cover disk in, i have to open explorer and run it manually.

I must be blnd or something, but how do you enable autorun??

    Cheers lads.

Nope its with every disk, Games, DVD movies, Magazine discs etc

If i manually run the autorun file on the disc its fine, it just basically doesn't seem to run that by itself.

FFS man, shouldn't you be answering calls? :D

Right click on your CD/DVD drive in My Computer and choose Properties.. the settings are on the Autoplay tab.

You can go to windows website and pick up their powertoys for XP for free. Then install TweakUI for XP. Run tweakUI and under My computer there is a whole bunch of autoplay options. Any settings you make in there should override anything else you did before.
