I just started a dedicated server, I'm renting it monthly and have lotssssss of BW and space because of my sites that I run. I'll be offering hosting so if you want some free hosting let me know, if you want something for a little cost via paypal to help me pay for the dedicated server, I'll hook you up with a nice deal, PM me if interested :)

For those who are interested, I'm a member of our computer club at the high school, and we have a Xeon 2800 server with unlimited (free) internet access (6MB up and down [and yes, that's byte]). If anyone needs photo hosting, just give me a call and I'll place it on my space there... :D As long as it isn't multiple GB of material noone will notice ;)

It's cpanel 10, I'm only renting a basic dedicated as it's my first approach for a big step.

Intel Celeron 2.4 Ghz 400Mhz Bus
    Memory: 512MB DDR System Memory
    Storage: Single 80GB Hard Drive
    Transfer: 1,500 GB per month
IP Addresses: 4 :: Private VLAN

But considering no one else is on it but me, there is NO lag at all :D It's in a datacenter in Florida.

I've got some hosting as well.
Latest versions of apache, php and mysql.
I've got 3x 100meb fiber from the datacenter I am in, and the server is has a 100mbit connection to the switch.
    More details, pls ask :)

    I too can do hosting.

100gb Transfer, 3gb Space, Unlimited Mailboxes, MySQL, PHP, Frontpage (eek!)
    .co.uk domain - £50 a year.
    .com domain - £60 a year.

Transfer limits is very flexible, 100gb is only there as a guideline.

EDIT : Also, servers sit on the TIER1 network, so speeds are very fast. A friend on another forum was obtaining download speeds of over 850kbs on a file that was hosted.

Oh you mean £50 for hosting and a co.uk. domain?

This thread is about free hosting offers (donations welcome) so I thought you were offering free hosting, but charging £50/60 for a domain.

    No, thats all in ;)

Hosting & Domain... I've seen a lot of places offering hosting for about £5 a month, but without a domain name!!! Instead they get a "SPECIAL" yourname.ourcompany.com kind of package.... :/

Hey guys, I finally got my dedicated up and running! It's really sexified!!!! I have a couple of my own personal sites on it, if you'd like to be apart of it and want to spare a few bucks a month, let me know. I'll be happy to host you. And I'm not a prick, so I'll allow you to do UNLIMITED domain addons and stuff, basically have it all.

Same space, slightly less transfer (like you'd ever use 100GB..) for 35 quid a year.. Everything else is unlimited (+ SSH access)
