HDTV? I've had this problem for years with SDTV-only games!

The developers seem to be working exclusively on computer monitors, and forget that even if text is legible on their pixel-perfect monitor two feet from their face, it's going to be a barely-legible blur on my big TV set six feet away from the couch.

And Capcom has been one of the worst offenders for this, so no big surprises here for me.

[offtopic] I thought ideal viewing range for big screens was 11' - 15' [/offtopic]

Okay, I gotta say, I went bought the game first thing when the store opened, and played it for a good 20 hours... (I love killing zombies) The game is awesome, and the really important text is somewhat legible if you have 20/20 vision. Other than that, you get text from a walkie talkie which isn't that important, and can be ignored, or easily worked around since no human can read it. (the walkie talkie gives you side missions for the most part)

So really, it was anoying, but not anywhere near anoying enough for me to think about not buying the game.
