Well i im still thinking it over, and im also thinking of a little phase change cooling. But this will be a while down the road as my fridge is still in good condition and th e wife would kill me ( if youget my drift ).
Well as soon as the case got back to me yesterday it was straight out for another review to New Zealands PCWORLD.
I did mange to get the FX60 in and do a little overclocking, getting it up too 3.2ghz but no further.
It wasnt 100% stable as the ram is still limiting me, and all i could pull in superpi was a 29 sec. time stable at 2.9ghz.
I have how ever rerouted the tubing, so its not on such a wicked bend and have it now goign through the drive cage.
Ill get pictures up as soon as its back in my arms !

So far I love the mod. I would like to make just one suggestion and that would be to paint the frame it self black along with the slot covers and all. I do realize what a bitch it would be to remove every thing to do so. But i just think that it would bring the red out so much more. Any who, keep up the awsome work.

Well i got back onto the case today, just to give it a complete over haul.
Work on the plumbing, inner acrylic work, and changing the fans etc.

Ive decided to change the fans for the case, to something more bling to go with the inner mirror work, and other work i intend to do to the case.
The fans of choice are from Sunbeamtech, and are chrome plated led fans.


I think that these will set the case so much better then the boring black fans, but....

...never fear the, the blue Leds will be replaced with white ^_^.

Next on my agener is to get the innards stripped out

and figure out how my water has taken a turn for the worse. its got a bit algae'd...

how do the temps hold up with only 1 rad??? surely they mut be quite high??

 

Nope, idle around 27 ( lukewarm room ) and load around 36max when i whore source.

the insid eis goign to be taken care of with mirror acrylic ( as it is currently ).
Im plannign on doign alot more work on the inner this weekend.

I would say do a pelt just for the coolness factor (pun intended). It would be sick.

 

looks great. nice big of tubing and cabling, i know how hard it is to make tubing neat. paint job is great.
