The problem with these posts is that you're probably just going to get a whole load of different opinions from different people, and possibly end up no wider than you already are. There's nothing essentially wrong with anything on that list. It's a matter of value for money really, or... what you intend to do with it. It's a gaming rig, yes, but do you plan on overclocking?

That striker extreme board looks cool, although expensive.

As always, I'm recommending a Lian Li case, but that's a personal thing.

Looks like a nice rig, but you'll always get people recommending other stuff now. I bet you'll get the usual crowd recommending Seasonic PSUs for instance, and with good reason. There are the usual bunch that will recommend Tagen or Enermax PSUs... so where does that leave you? They're both excellent. Usually, when you're comparing a bunch of equally excellent products it becomes a personal thing based on aesthetics. CPUs are an absolute, but PSUs, mice, cases etc.. that's ultimately got to be mostly a personal choice.

I can see no potential problems with that list.

I don't think you need to spend QUITE so much on a power supply. Unless you're planning on going with quad sli of 8800 GTX-XXX-XFX-666-CO-KO-Superclocked-ACS3-Ultra, you will get by fine with a Seasonic M12 psu, or Corsair HX620

I'm definately one of the ones who would recommend a Seasonic.

    Really, they are top notch.

PCP&C Silencers (at least the 610 and 750) are made by seasonic.

Mice are a very personal thing anyway. I really can't stand the shape of logitech mice and prefer the small light MS and Razer mice, but everyone is different

Guess who makes the Silencer for PCP&C? Seasonic ***!!!

I picked up the E6700 over the E6600. It's effortless to OC it past the $1000 x6800 and it has an already speedy stock speed at a nice 2.66Ghz (my personal sweetspot). I also have the X-Fi and it's a good card. After X-mas I'll get the Logitech MX Rev mouse too :)
