Hello, I just want to confirm something.

I would like to use a UK DVD player in America where none of the local players seems to handle region 2 DVDs thanks to lack of multiregion as well as the PAL image format. So if I get a UK player that upscale to 720p and connect using HDMI to a US plasma screen (that only support NTSC), will it work to play PAL DVDs without having them lose colour?

Considering the converstion from PAL/NTSC to HDMI rebuilds the signal I would assume this will work. Any thought?

The 110 to 220v issue is already taken care of btw.

Well I know multi region DVD players easily can do both PAL/NTSC, the question is if an NTSC TV can display PAL content if it comes over HDMI.
