Case Mod - In Progress Carbon Li at the Computex **Tampei**.

I have added you on msn but I am not so much at msn. I use my time for modding.

 

Point of View no what the want in there case.

The power supply in a suitcase





1100Watt. 1,1KW sounds better.



Even the cables are matching with the Carbon.



This is all what’s comes in the lower part from the case.







One 120mm rad at the backside from the case.



I go here also for Carbon same as the feet.





And the first part of the tubes is in the case.









As last the whole case.

Those are some very clean tubing lines. Very nice work.

 

Today I start with making a frame for the hard disk coolers.







Drill the holes a bit bigger.



The First one fit.



And put it in the case. It will be covered with carbon later.









And this look snot right for me.



And this is the reason.



It takes some extra time but it fits now.



And so far am I now.

LEDs

nice work edijo as always
i just was wondering if you could make the LEDs on the base "running"
just a little circuit board and a great effekt?!

There am I again.

Today starting with some detail work on the power cables. First marking where to drill.



Than drill it.





After some file and work with sanding paper it fit like this.



Than the next part of cables.



Also that fit, only the colour full atx cable does not match with the case.





With the tubes in front of it, it hides some from the cables, only the colour full atx cable comes out. I will work that away. Later.





Ore make the atx cable black ore I mesh it with a peace of carbon.



@widmod, nice idea thanks, but no time to work that out before the cebit.

But that’s no problem.

Back to the lower part placed the carbon behind the hard disk coolers.



Now I can see where I must put some extra led’s



And marking where I must drill.



Ready ford drilling.

dude you have a sick case and your modding skills are brilliant,
but can i ask why you have the 120mm rad outside the case?
wouldnt it be easier and look much better to have it inside the case? anyways you mod looks brilliant and congrats on making it this far
just my opinon on it, (ignore me) lol keep it up

 

Having the radiator inside would obstruct the view of everything inside the case?

I beleive the radiator outside provides much better heat dissipation - correct me if I'm wrong.

Ediejo, nice work as usual.

One little thing though, the tubing spacer looks a bit thin. Maybe you should make it look a bit more bulky. Add a layer of plexi to it and sandwich that between 2 pieces of carbon?

 

Starting with the last phase from the mod. Build it to an end. First thing to do is mesh up this.



The same for the led’s at the bottom from the case.



Some kit for protection.



The last soldering on the feet.



And it’s working.

Make it the right size.
