    Brilliant!!!

I love the way you're using the drill motors... simple genius.

I've forwarded this to a machinist friend of mine who's built a 1/4 scale dual barrel machine gun that fires .22 caliber bullets... he'll get a kick out of this.

How about mounting a webcam on it and use some head-tracking software to turn the turret and barrel to let it point to anyone passing?
Will definately freak people out, a tank barrel following your movement poiting to your head :D

    where is this?

It looks like you're building this thing in an apartment or house. Is part 2 of the log going to be "how to get a six foot model tank out of your living room?"

not a problem. the tank is going to be 64cm wide (25" inches) and my doors are 66cm (26" inches) :p

The wood boards got in there with no problems. their 122 x 244 cm
    (48" x 96" inches)
