Normally i dont give props to anyone LOL but in this case.... Congratulations, thats an incredible piece of work
There are going to be a large number of hits in the next couple of days due to the mod being posted on hack a day. On another it's finally finished it's been a long time in the coming but it's done.
Hey G69T, This REALLY is the best mod I've ever seen! You are really worth the 1st place of the Best mod of 2006! This mod is really awesome. Good job! I'm looking forward to your next brilliant project!
I’m an editor at Popular Science in the U.S., and we were interested in finding out a bit more about the Dark Blade for a possible story in our do-it-yourself section. I’ve taken a look at your web site, but I’d appreciate any other details you could provide briefly about the build, the specs of the computer, and how/why you did it. Also, if we could arrange it, would it be available for a photo shoot anytime soon? When you have a chance, please send an e-mail to doug.cantor[at]time4[dot]com. Thanks very much for the help. Best, Doug Cantor Associate Editor Popular Science
I'm curious, how much would you sell that for? (on the off chance I win the lottery I would so toss you 20K for that machine) (if not more)
Truly Amazing G... I've never seen anything like it. Outstanding work. If Michelangelo had a CNC available to him, he couldn't have done any better. peace, Aielman
hello to all G69T >>>> from the last picture, your job seems to me like a piese of hardware from a borg ship (from star trek movie). nice colors. the two pipes from the exterior look like same strange worm, I think that you can make that pipe rigid and you can use as external radiator (helps if the pipe will be from metal) good job
yes he could make the pipes out copper or alloy tubing or even contruct a long rectangular tube, and then whack heatsinks along it - with or without the heatsinks, it would be an ugly resorator. I think it's perfect the way it is! It is done! i hope popular mechanics pay Giancarlo handsomely for the opportunity to photograph & feature his creation
