    This one is as exported from Aperture with only a crop and increased contrast. I tried to achieve the same effect in Photoshop cs2, but the simple contrast control was useless - I had to adjust the RGB curve with 3 control points. I wonder how Aperture's control works.. (the contrast is actually maxed out on the Aperture slider and instantly improves the photo, but within Photoshop it only took about +20% to destroy the clouds, and even then the blue sky was basically untouched).

    The contrast control in CS2 is worthless. You need an upgrade to CS3 :)

    Anyways, very nice shot. The silhouette works, and is done, quite well.

    thanks. it kinda reminds me of outerspace, which i guess is only apt :)
