the program is pretty easy to use, I found it really easy because I have taken mechanical and architectural AutoCAD classes before

"impossible" so far from the truth it's bizarre.
If you want photographic style renders look for Podium.

@KayinBlack: First take a good dead-on (straight from the front) photo of the board. Then start with the pcb in sketchup, make it the right diameters. Then apply the photo as a texture. You can use the components in the photo as a guide for the placement of the components in the model. For capacitors you just draw a circle and use push/pull.

Oh and jazzle, I got some models at my site that you can add to the scc.

To make the truncated cone, just make a cylinder and adjust the radius of the circles.

I was doing a few pumps for a friend and now that I'm done I thought I'd share it with you all.

    1. Koolance Pump Nozzle Base w/ Laing DDC Pump.

    2. Laing DDC with PetrasTech DDCT 01s Top Combo.

Just a little sketchy about the Koolance pump, I was working off of just pictures.

Hey jazzle, how do I upload to you again...its been a while.

Also have a question for you guys, I am doing a motherboard too and when I bring in a photo as texture it come in tiled...meanning when I move the component the texture does not move with it and the alinement get off. Its like the texture stays fix in tile mode. Am I doing something wrong? Big thank for the help.

    Scoob;)
