    *UPDATE*

I was far too tired to do an update last night but you guys will be pleased I never, more about that in a bit.

After finishing the Nvidia logo it was time to get started on the Xbox 360 logo for the other side.

With the jigsaw I cut out the logo, it wasnt easy as the bends are so tight but I got there

As you can see there was a fair bit of filing to be done, also while filing I had to keep measuring it to the green cross I had already made to make sure I had a tight fit

and after alot of sanding with different grade sandpaper I finally got to the part where I was happy

Now I knew for a fact that the jigsaw wasnt going to cut out the numbers 360 so I got the dremel back out and used that to cut them out

Wasnt the best cutting I had done but I had my files to back me up.

Now while filing my father in law came in and said "Why are you using that needle file set, here use these ". He then gave me the tiniest precision needle file set I have seen

Just to give you an idea the following picture will show you just how same the round file is, now the one on the right was the needle file set I got from B&Q which said Presicion Needle File Set on the packet.

Dont think so compared to these

A little rusty but hey they aint been used in years, they were fantastic and got me the following results

I have done a little more work on the word XBOX & thats looking much better than the picture now, well after being well happy with the 2 logos it was time to start cutting windows out for each panel.

I got out my aluminium frames and used them as a template

After cutting I just wanted to give them a quick check to make sure they fit

As I said in my first post each window will have a picture etched onto it

So I got the picture and printed it out, remember anyone doing this you have to reverse everything, once lined up I stuck it on the window

Then after hours with the dremel and engraving bits I finally finished

So for all your benefits I got the cold cathodes out, turn the lights out and done a money shot.

    Hope you enjoy them

Thats it for now everyone, the 360 window will be getting etched tomorrow

    *UPDATE*

Well after finshing the Pc window panel it was time to do the Xbox 360 side, I couldnt think of anything other than the main character from Gears of War for the etching, so again I printed the picture I wanted in the size I wanted and lined & taped it up ready for etching.

Now this picture has far more work than the PC window so took a little longer, well about 7 hours all in all, heres the final etching.

At the bottom I etched the Xbox 360 rings and Microsft running through it which took ages, this turned out very well all in all and I am more than happy with it.

Now before any money shots I will explain what else has been done.

With both window panels finished & both mesh top sections cut out it was time to attach these finished pieces to the side panels.

So out came the JB Weld, this stuff is meant to be good, lets hope so.

I couldnt take any pictures of the sticking process because it was a race against time as JB Weld sets in 4 minutes, plus its very messy stuff so heres a finished shot of all panels glued in place.

Now its time for the money shots, like with the PC window I have put the aluminium frames around for the full effect.

Heres also a couple of close up shots, I couldnt be more happier with the finished windows.

So thats it for the moment, will post another update shortly.
