    First test :

Not perfect, but it can go well...
Now let's take some more measure with the lcd display :

Now let's cut with the electric saw :

More work with the file, but I'm on the right way :)
    Now it's the sponsor time!
I would like to say a big tnx to every sponsor that help me to make this mod real and not only in my mind... I've prepared a big sticker with all the logos to place inside the CaBe, here is how I've picked up the right measure :

I must say a big tnx to Dual, LaFelpa and Ettina , I hate Illustrator and they have spent some time to redraw all the logos in AI for me...
    First placement test :

After the test, the stick on phase!

After a good cleaning of the surface, I'm ready to stick it, but I need some ingredients :
Xacto knife, spatula and soapy water :

A big amount of soapy water :

    Placing the sticker :

Now with the help of the soapy water you can place the sticker in the place that you like :)
Taking off the water with the spatula :

Take a good care to use a piece of protective paper on the spatula, and gently press the sticker to pull out the soapy water.

Side view and top view :

Now the sticker must dry for at least 24 hours...
    See you soon!

I love mods that you cram all the stuff possbile into a small space, it's really nice to see the planning and engineering of the case so that it all works. love it.

Nice stickers - I hope you won't be able to see the edge of the transparent film - it seems a bit too "sharp" - it doesn't fade away or something if you get what I mean?

But those stickers are way too cool! Nice! Now, what hardware was in it?

Give it some times to cure and you can't see the edge of the sticker, but keep in mind that this sticker are here only for the show, after the show they will replaced :)

The hardware inside is not so important, but here is a small list :

HARD DISK :2x250 gb SATA Seagate + passive heat spreader glued with T411 from Microcool.it
    RAM : 2x1gb Corsair Dominator
CPU : Intel core duo 6600
Motherboard : DFI Infinity P965 Dark Solid Capacitor Edition
    Video : MSI 8500
Optical Drive : no brand, one dvd reader/cd burner and one dvd reader/burner

    Waterloop :
Chipset : K5 by Ybris Cooling
    VGA : B3 by OCLabs
    CPU : G3 from OCLabs
Mosfet : handmande by Lunasio Cooling
Hard disk : MA.ER. by Lunasio Cooling
Pump : Laing + XPTop by OCLabs
    Tubing : Tygon R3400
Rad : 2x Black Ice Micro from Innovatek

All the producer of the hardware used in the waterloop are italians, check out their stores, it's amazing to see what they do!

Now it's time to put the lcd panel in place :

It fit ok, but I need to polish it!
First, a quick use of CFG, high grit polish :

Then a long use of Iosso :)
After the last use of Iosso with my banchdrill, I've used some cotton by hand, here is the result :

Not so bad, but I can do more...
    The borders are horrbile!

Self adhesive protective borders for car doors, like the C-trim , but less flexible and more cheaper!

    Display cabling :

I have room for the two usb key that I want to use...
    This is a little add-on :

It's the AcRyan Backy, a bracket with a molex, a ESATA plug and a fan-type plug, I won this on the MoM contest, so I want to show it :)
Cleaning the floor I found this scrap piece :

I hate to throw it away, so ...

Not the best, but with a piece of T411 I've glued it in place and for the moment I keep this piece in, but in future I suppose to remove it...

Last works, I need something to help me to fill the loop :

This is a Thermaltake spare parts from my bin, it's an adaptor from 6mm to 9mm, this is what I was looking at! I hold it in place using a o-ring joined to a spring.
Now let's plug all the mess : usb, power, reset, led, backy and so on :

I suppose that everytinh is in place, some more pics :

And now, the final photo session!
In my garden, for the first time in 8 months outside the labo :

    Comments?
    Suggestions?
Remember, this is not the end of the mod , it's only the end of the mod to show it at SMAU, after that I have in mind to change something...
    Well, more than something :)

    Tnx a lot guys!
The dimensions are 30 cm each side, too little, trust in me!
Yes, I want to do more, and change something, stay tuned, in the meantime I've managed to do a little keyboard modding :)

    Long time is passed...
In the maentime I've maged to go to G69T home to see the Dark Blade and talk about modding ...
He is showing an extra piece of the tak "fins" on the side :

And then he gave me like a gift :)

    I'm a little bit happy :

Really cool mod, and really cool guys, but this is not the thread of the Dark Blade, this post is only to show you that I'm alive, and between some days I'll show you some big-little modding to my mod :)
