Rant Gaddamn Yahoo is acting like Microsoft!!!

    I get up this morning and discover that yaheoo has dumbed down the mail interface without notice and sow I can't change settings!!!

    They've made it so that show full headers can't be set as a global option and you don't get an option anymore as to whether or not the original message is included in the reply (it is). I've been wioth yahoo for over a decade, but if they keep pulling this kind of BS I'm going to be switching!

    They've caught the Microsoft disease. They're tring to make the product so user friendly that any moron can use it while alienating the people who actually know how to use a computer!

    Eh, I abandoned Yahoo a while ago. I still use my Yahoo email every now and then, but not for anything serious.

    Maybe it's time to try gmail?

    Can't say I really use webmail interfaces anymore- I just have my Yahoo! mail forwarded to my Live Mail account, which is in Outlook anyway along with my Uni email.

    I'm looking at Gmail. I know I want to stick with a webmail system since I access it from so many different computers.

    EDIT: Tried Gmail and it has EXACTLY THE SAME issues :(


    Here is the ever so helpful response I got when I emailed them...

    I think this one did well in the being useless portion of the training. :wallbash:

    Well, yahoo might be bought by Microsoft, so there is some truth in their similarity, as Microsoft seems to be wanting to acquire a company with a similar "outlook"...
