Ok, not really a disaster mod but...

Well I had cut a blow hole in one of my old cases, in fact it was the first blow I cut. A week later I was taking it to a mates and decided to just check it out and put the 92mm fan in it. Pluged it in to the board (3 pin connector). Turned on the system, 'um... whats that smell? Oh ****!'

The fan had flames coming out of it. The board and thats ok tho, thank god for that!

Scared me a bit as it's not a bad system: Althlon 700 with a Voodoo 4 4500 and ethernet card.

Plugged it in to the mobo which is the concerning thing about it. The mobo works fine thank god (as its my Athlon 700 machine). I think I put the connector the wrong way round and it might of been damp, had it in the garage while cutting hole in the caser altho it wasnt left over night. It is strange and not sure wot happend. In fact I have to try it again!

I'll post if its a success
