Cooling case/cpu temp differential

    right now i have a 12c differnece in temp
    33c case 45c cpu

    Im thinking my setup is not as efficient as it could be, or is it?
    opinions?

    setup right now:

    res/pump-->cpu-->rad1-->gpu-->rad2-->res/pump

    2black ice micros positioned behind 2 80mm intake fans
    innovatek blocks
    iceball2 res/pump

    someone suggested i run the rads in parallel so new setup would be:

    res/pump-->2 rads-->cpu-->gpu-->res/pump
    any thoughts?

    what size pump?.......also if its an athlon it may be over heating the water for that size radiator....or maybe ur fans arent enough for the radiator

    ah ur temps are probably alot better then....watercooling = less airflow aroudn the cpu and most motherboards only take readings from the air around the cpu, not the actualyl cpu

    i would think its worse then......wouldnt it take alot to heat up the block then the air.....i would think if im gettin the "air around the cpu" temp, the actual cpu temp would be higher....no?

    oh well thanks for the help guys

    any more opinions gladly appreciated:)

    mobo temps are at best a rough guideline, little more. I would however look at the use of two rads. I would definately not use them in parallel unless you are running a linked reserviour system. Radiators decrease the waters velocity and kill the flow rate. I would try running one rad just befor the CPU, see your temps and then play about with configurations a bit.:baby:
