"Inventor also has tools for sheetmetal part creation, welded part creation, and, starting with Version 10, a rendering and animation environment called Inventor Studio based on the mental ray rendering engine."

Think it's a problem with my mail software on my server which will take me a while to fix, atm I've created a link to here to request manual activation which I'll do asap.

You registered your account, which I have now activated :)

Sorry for the inconvenience, I always seem to have bad luck with sendmail type apps.

Approved, and thanks. I'm currently rewriting most of the ****, but I've just started Uni and ****, so my time's a bit full with... well drinking and sleeping :)

I finally got round to rewriting the site, so it's a bit prettier and a much nicer system using more flexible code etc. Currently transferring all the components from the old site to the new one. Activation emails are no longer required (they never seemed to work) and if you log into the new site you'll have to 'migrate' your account in order to update it for the new system.

Will update the OP in a bit.

This has been shut down for the time being due to financial constraints preventing me from keeping up with the hosting.

I hope to have it back up again in a few months.

It may be down, but god bless you, buddy. Ive got a hungry hard drive just waiting for it to come back online. :naughty: I hate sketchup with a passion and the one site that has comp components-grabcad, keeps getting spammed with skp's. And renders. And completely lacks any sort of standardized tagging system. Every tag *might* have 2components- if you are lucky :wallbash:

Sorry I xan't edit the quote into my last post but the word "tablet" says it al. :p
anyway, have you tried contacting some modder-friendly companies for sponsorship? Wont pay everything but it could significantly reduce the financial burden :thumb:

Well, I was hoping to find things you can also find in the Sketchup repository.
And yea, I hate Sketchup with a passion too.

I was just intrigued when I found out there once was a component-repository for Inventor. I am really just looking for basic parts, such as PSU, Mainboard and the like, to enable more visually correct planning for casecons. I was also just wondering what kind of components were in that repository...just basic boxes that are skinned with hardware-images or actually constructed, detailed components.

    Thus a nice-to-have, not a need-to-have really.

This depends really. For example, the circuit board in a psu sure as hell wont be complete. Large, important details and wire connection points. But then, the mobo will be much more detailed as will the graphics. Most other things, ther's a 90% chance its just decals. This was the main reson i wanted them too, visual planning. Then I export everything to solidworks for rendering. Sw is just so much more intuitive in rendering. I am personally hoping there's a model of an airplex rad. That would make my day.
