Congratulations on your good fortune HeXen., It's always good to hear about someone
having some good luck, and I'm glad you are continuing with this project, I wondered what ever
    happened to it.

PS: That's a good mobo/CPU combo for a HTPC, our tv runs off that very same combo with a
    dual tuner tv card. :thumb:

One more time... and i will be very angry "$@%!%@$%%@"

Fortune is turning with her a55 to me! No time, no time, plenty of voices in my head :D

First of all, i have made some preparations for next step of "modding". That's the preassembling of new parts at my workshop :) 4mm thick alu and 4mm thick transparent perspex for mobo tray.

Some Screews, bolts and lots of unwanted stuff

    [IMG] [IMG]
Finally i found some things for mobo and mobo tray.

    [IMG] [IMG]
Taaa Daaaa -> preassembled case. I know perspex is a bit to big, better have to much than less :eyebrow:
Let me know how it's looking.

For sure there will be engaved pattern but still no such thing in my head (any ideas ??)
Alu will be polished to the mirror look, engraved pattern will be filled with black paint.

I was thinking about flower patterns (i don;t really know how to describe them) but this will look like scatches. second option will be a mechanical scetch last is paintstripping pattern.

    What you think?

First nice Frame and metal work.

You can also engraved a wood style, twines flowers or something else. But I don't know how you will like it. If you want some technical drawings, you can engraved some gears or something else.

You can copy it from some pictures like this one [IMG]. You only have to check, if there is a copyright on the picture. Or you use it and make some easy changes.

Wow. It is looking good, and tiny, which is even neater. 80mm high? Gyah!
That Alu will look nice with some subtle etching.
