    Hello,
I want to add RBG Mood Lighting to my bedroom ceiling.
A idea of what i mean:

    Lights here:

The hole size will be 1.2m by 2m so i will need 6.4m of lights.

What would be the cheapest way of doing it? buying a kit or buying RGB LED strip.
What controller would be the best? i would like to controll it from my pc and by remote (if possible)

    Thanks

    Thanks
I have found places that sell RGB LED strip in 5m lenghts.
But then i would need a controller for it.

do you think that controller would cope with a 7m strip?

the controller i use is £25.00

If you what one i can get you one.

    up to 30 meters mate.

there are more expensive controllers out there costing any ware from £25 to £250 (but alot of them are rip off's)

i can do up to 5 meter but its not cheap inc controller you looking at about £75.

Delivery would take about 2 weeks as i only some 30 cm strips left with controllers in stock..

ive found a 5m reel for £59 and i think they can suply a custom length, so ill see how much a 7m length will be then get a controller seperate.

well with controller you going to pay more than the price ive just said , have a look around any way and if you interest pm me ...

    the strips normally come in 30 cm / 1 meter / 5 meter / 10 meter / then 100 meter's

all can but cut to length. But a 10 meter one is not cheap and you don't get the controller with it.

just been checking sizes this Controller can handle and it cannot handle more than 6 meters. The 30 meter controller is far to expensive.

They can cope with 7m but they will have a bit of interferance.
i think i will order 7m (whether 10m, 2x5m or 2m+5m) and see how bad it is.

    Edit:

I have found an amplifier for it.
It will add an extra 5m of avalible strip.

I might get 10m of it then use the amplifier and add more LED's over my room.
