Nice electronics skillz! I like how you made the socket from an old molex connector. Those perf board terminals are great, is there a name for those?
The socket ist bought -> CLICK HERE The terminals: CLICK HERE UPDATE Today I cut the... ..."cornea" Nice screws The first threads I cut manually But the rest... CLICK HERE
you cut your threads much faster than I do. Why you don't buy a thicker acrylic plate and to counterbore the screw heads. The greatest problem is the price of the thicker acrylic plate.
Thank's UPDATE: The water is still in the eye. . Now I start with the backpanel... and the pushbuttons for the tft I think that works The connection cable later more
The paint is drying Now it is time for some more LED This time a serial connection... ...with the obligatory resistor And a functional check later more...
A rest aluminium... ...is just big enough to match the TFC Radiator. Here the Dremel works perfekt again. (I love that tool) Before the bending comes the Dremen again. And a close-up
Now it is time to bring the LEDs in place First: The drilling Of course: tree times The Back side view A other thing what will be done, ist the radiator bracket. To mount him in place I cut seven M5 threads. Mounted And here with the TFC products Illuminated: That the TFT can breathe I need some holes in the Backplate. For that reason I firt print the "COLD EYE" lettering on some labels. With the DREMEL and a perforated plate.. ... I made some vent-hole-lettering
That looks really cool, what do you think about those fans, I was comparing them to some Scythe fans the other day and for the price they didn't seem worth it.
With the rod-nut combination I'm more than unhappy. Therefore I soldered the nuts to the rod (aua) The cable from the front pane... ... pass thru the TFT... ... to connection aria . c For the connection I use a rest from the project "Rocklander" The result:
