After receiving some excellent help with my PC build (which i will be ordering over the weekend)
I am now trying to decide on which monitor to purchase for it.

    The requirements are:

    Has to be 23/24"
Must have at least 1 HDMI socket or have the option to convert to HDMI.
    Budget around £160-170

Ive heard that LED is generally considered better than LCD and had been recommended this:

However it doesnt have any HDMI slots as I was hoping for since Id quite like to use it in conjuction with the PS3 as well.

Ive done a bit of research and came up with these 2 which seem pretty handy:

Both have the HDMI stuff, but are LCD rather than LED.

Im leaning more towards the Philips option atm, but would apprecaite some suggestions :)

Afterall no point in building a new shiny gaming PC, and having a horrible screen to stare at right? :D

You might as well go for a nice 26inch HD LCD. That generally has a HDMI socket. Spend that extra little more and it will be worth while mate.

You might want to take a look at the BenQ G2420HD too.

    24" 1920x1080
    HDMI, DVI, D-Sub

Mine is excellent, much better image/colours than my Samsung SM206BW.
