I haven't played around with bluetooth for a long time, but i know it used to be possible. i had an old PDA that would somehow bypass the user permissions, and would go straight into the file system of any device that had bluetooth on. With devices since then it has always asked the user if they want to allow that person permission, but i'm sure there will be a way to get around it with a bit of tinkering.

2 or 3 years ago when I was in school I know it was possible so I would assume that it still is but the easiest way to prevent it is to turn bluetooth off.

Simple answer is yes it is very easy for any Bluetooth device to hacked, as a matter of fact our law enforcement and governments use such tools for snooping an other part of the covert big brother world

bluejacking is very easy to do. Great for free phonecalls if you're that way inclined (or dropping porn on to peoples phones).

We used to log on to phones & add a phonebook entry called jesus loves you just for a laugh (when I was a kid)

Bluejacking's disturbingly easy. Never, ever leave it turned on.
