    Sure, a space marine could adopt the prone position, but it would be fun to watch him try and get back up! =)

    Why is it always a Space marine? Why not an Army Ranger or an Air Force Combat Controller? They are both heavily trained in various weapons and fight behind enemy lines in two man groups. Just a thought. Hoo-Ah

    Because they're not in Warhammer 40,000? Plus the Space Marines are the iconic poster boys of Warhammer 40,000. If you're going to want to run a test product for a 3rd-person combat game along the likes of Gears of War, the Space Marines are your best bet.

    The MMO promises more races.

    I remember playing Space Hulk waaaaay back and it was good fun, graphics are poor compared to todays standards but I enjoyed the game. The dialogue was a bit pious at times as well but I suppose it is in character, even if it does sound more than just a bit silly.

    Look forward to this one, and if it is a GoW clone then I don't see that as a bad thing because I enjoyed both Gears games (pc & XBox) even if the developer did really hack me off by saying that if you have a pc powerful enough to play our games then you must be a pirate - bloody cheek I've never pirated a game EVER, even right back to my Speccy days. Same with films, no pirate copies be it tape, dvd or download

    Looking forward to this, though i hope you arent limited to just one type of marine. Separate stories for ultramarines and blood angels etc would be great

    There are FAR too many chapters (even if you discounted user-made ones) to make multiple storylines. Plus you wouldn't have multiple Chapters working together on a planet unless it was an EXTREMELY severe and overwhelming occurance.

    There are too few Space Marines in the Imperium of Man to allow multiple Chapters to work together on anything but the most dire of circumstances (for example, The Adeptus Praeses, The Cadian Gate, The Armageddon War, etc).

    OK, I've nerded out enough for today! ;)

    Well I ordered Space marine for PS3 about 2 years ago when it was on pre order from Play..
    Just checked again and now they say march this year.....
    I doubt it but on PC it would be great!

    Thats not nerding out at all Ph4lsnx! .... but read horus rising Blood angels, Emporers Children and Luna WOLVES!!! Boom!.... Shame it all went so wrong really :)
