msi 460 1gb cyclone

    well i got me one of these today as i game as well as fold on it....
    but ive got a problem with 6.32 client...
    i have set it up ....made an icon and right click to run as administrator....as im using vista...
    i have the latest drivers from nvidia...
    i get a message it failed to start because cudart32_30_14.dll was not found.....
    where do i sort this out???

    did you install as administrator

    I don't run Vista but I think it's the same as Win 7.

    When you created the shortcut did you remember to change the "start in" field to: -

    \USERS\YOUR NAME\APPDATA\ROAMING\Folding@home-gpu or whatever you have called your working folder for the client.

    Other than that, reboot computer and give it another try.

    I've had that before. It normally occurs when it's not installed with appropriate rights (in this case, no admin).

    I had the same problem, but I can't remember details since I have installed multiple times on different machines.
    Try looking in the c:/program files/folding@home/ directory, which appears to be the default place for the exe and DLLs.
    I copied the DLLs from there to my c:/users/<me>/FAH/Folding@home-gpu folder (where I also copied the exe).
    As has been mentioned there can be security/ownership issues if run from elsewhere (but I am sketchy with details).
