I was randomly searching through my horrendous music collection when i came across some old pc games that struck back to some good times in my life One of my favourite games to play as a kid Creatures 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZo7YHUVTAc&feature=related Man i loved this game i spent hours playing it daily playing with all my weird creatures making strange noises Then there was the day you found out one was dying and it would be a depressing moment you would fish for them and play with them and when a new egg came along you could wack it in the incubator and hatch another one! I loved this game so much i may get an old pc out to play it again and enjoy the good times! Feel free to share some games from your childhood
LEGO RACERS! Then Lego Stunt Rally. Then Lego Racers 2. Then Lego Island 2, which made me do my first PC upgrade! 256MB of RAM! What can I say, I liked Lego. After that it was tonnes of RA2.
Worms 2, Liero, Elastomania, Wings, Red Alert... Oh and ofcourse KEEN! How could I almost forget. And Lemmings. I guess those were the biggest ones.
Skool Daze on ZX Spectrum - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skool_Daze. I loved this game. I only wish I'd have had Bully on the '360 back then.
Mario and the original Prince of Persia series. My favourite games now are the Prince of Persia series and the Modern Warfare Series. Byron Injeeli
Spyro year of the dragon, Driver 1+2, Frontier, Harvest Moon back to nature and Sim City 3000 were what most of my time was spent on. There was also goldeneye at the local youth club.
Galaxian and Battlezone (arcade) - used to play these all the time on the *long* ferry journey between Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire. Even now when I hear their sounds, it gives me a tingle
Question - how could you possibly think that this was a general topic? SIGH. Anyway, if you wanted to go way back in my gaming history, you'd find me playing The Simpsons, Burnin' Rubber and Dizzy Down The Rapids on an Amstrad desktop circa 1994 Pretty much every game I played on the N64 between about 1996 and 2000 sticks out to me. I have fond memories of many hours spent playing big titles like Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Kart 64 and SM64. Shortly after that, it was GTA on the PC, which started a life long love for the whole GTA series. I was then introduced to the world of competitive gaming and the FPS genre with Unreal Tournament, which I played a ridiculous amount of before moving on to Counter Strike, having already played through Half Life and the subsequent expansion packs on my old ATI Rage 128 powered PIII machine
The dizzy series Super mario bros 1&2 streets of rage, road rash, chase hq marcos magic football theres more but they were the games i played the most.
