Hmmm........I think I'm going to leave the 140mm radiator out of this for the time being. I expect I'll use it at a later date to replace the H50 and run a dual loop system. I can fit 2 pumps to the Koolance reservoir.
That res is lovely, I perfer the look of the second version though, but nowhere seems to stock it yet
Just one question as this is my first go at proper watercooling. How should I go about filling the loop so as not to get any air in the system. Should the system be fully installed and ready to switch on before filling (ie, filling is the very final step in the whole process of the build)?
Yeh, but unplug the psu from everything in case of leaks. Then power up just the pump and move the case so any air bubbles flow to the res
You may change your mind, when you see the price though. ive got the xspc dual res split bay one, but nice to see something other than the Typhoon(grrr) that takes dual d5s
Ah the Typhoon 3, such an amazing idea, worked so very well, but why couldn't they have made it from something stronger...
Indeed, i still have my typhoon3, havent used it, as too many people having issues, will return it one day for a replacement typhoon4, if i cba.
There's a Typhoon4? P.S. have a flick through my thread as people have found it very helpful I'll be adding to it when Uni work allows...
The price is a little but something I'm willing to pay for seeing as as the tubing to and from my EK Multioption is a little obstructing.
Yeh the res isn't cheap, but since I've thrown so much cash at this computer, I just thought "what's the point in skimping?". Cheers for the info Pete, I'll post up some pics when the build is finished. Those Aerocool fans move some serious air btw.
