Well, every day is an education! I honestly thought it was still up there! Doh.

Well the restaurants motto is:

"It aint fancy, it's just Goode"

Place is called "Goode's Q and Bayou Grill" and they have THE BEST food in Great Falls. The gumbo looks odd but I can assure you that it is fantastic!

 

Just the word gumbo, well, doesn't sound very appealing. It needs to say ' a velvety cream soup containing rice, herbs, turds (maybe not that one ) and chicken fillets. Soul food.

 

It's akin to 'Tent Peg Stew'. I actually had one that had a tent peg in it, true story. I was really quite violently ill through the night so not an episode I'll ever repeat.

If you want a Gumbo but the name simply puts you off, try a Jumbalaya. It's more rice than soup though.

 

I honestly thought you had taken a picture of a lunch you had forgotten in the trunk of your car 3 months ago or something.

You sir, are a brave man for eating this.

 

Jumbalayas are scrummy! Rice, prawns and peppers with other random bits of veg, really rather nice for something regarded as fairly healthy.

They're awesome! I think britishmilitarysurplus.co.uk had them in stock a while ago for £5 which was an absolute bargain but they were gobbled up.

 

WTF? they RRP at £85! how the hell did they sell them for £5?

 

Sorry, just double checked, I don't think they were the v12s, they are very similar though and actually £10, not new either, but with such high quality goggles a bit of use isn't going to wear them out at all.

well i got mine second hand from ebay for £18 from a cyclist, i dont think he knew how much they where worth lol.

seem to go for about £40 normally on ebay so im happy and will be put to good use
