I'd go with white, but if you insist on red or green, i'd choose red.
same goes for the fan leds.

P.S. Shouldn't this be in modding? (As it is not a project in progress)

The only logical inference was that your project was still in a planning phase, and we haven't seen any pics yet.

You asked our opinion and that was mine.

    I'll third the white LED's.
Black and white is a tidy scheme indeed. Especially done well.
Black and red has been done to death, and black and green is just...Razer.

Mini-ATX mobo with dual GPUs? You do realise that's an AOpen form factor which is only 15cm x 15cm

Now did you mean Mini-ITX? (17cm x 17cm so more room to play with but squeezing in dual GPUs could be a little tricky)

    Or Micro-ATX? (24.4 x 24.4cm)

And +1 for the "This isn't a project log". You yourself said you're still planning.

Moved to modding. Project logs should contain pics of work in progress.

So much wrong with this from the get-go that I can't help think it's not going to work.

First thing you need to do is decide on your form factor. I genuinely don't believe you're going to put a mini-ATX board in there because they're stupid small and there is not a smowballs chance in hell that you're getting dual GPUs running with a board that size. Nor will you get dual GPUs running on a mini-ITX board, which is slightly bigger. You have only a small chance of getting two cards into a micro-ATX board, but why on earth would you want to put a small motherboard in the absolutely massive G5 chassis? The board that Apple use in it is larger than standard ATX boards, so using a smaller than ATX one just strikes me as silly if I'm honest.

I think this thread needs a "Planning" tag. And please for the sake of my sanity, capitalize the first letters in the thread/project title

i want a small mobo so i can fit a 360 rad at the bottom and enough space else where

I can see where you're coming from with your choice to have an mATX over a standard ATX. Despite the size of the G5 case, the whole thing is built around properiatry hardware. This means that fitting industry standard components can be difficult without some modification to the chassis. The problem with mATX however, is that you are somewhat limited in choice. The ASUS Rampage is a good board, but that's about it to be honest. With ATX you do get a better range of options, at the expense of a few centimetres of vertical space.

I know all this because my case is limited to mATX and picking a decent board for a good price is proving difficult.
