    i've heard rumers that xbox games may work on win 8, these are unconfirmed rumours i might add, but apparently there seems to be error checking code for xbox, and xbox live coding within win 8

    Could not care less. I was actually given a copy of GoW on PC and three separate times I've installed and played for a bit then lost interest.

    Its just a bit... meh.

    It's a franchise. Either you were invested in the previous titles or you weren't. Is Battlefield, Black Ops, Modern Warfare, Homefront, Bodycount, or Bulletstorm really all that different? Need for Speed, Forza, Grand Turismo? Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row?

    Its a flavor. What trim do you like? All those titles sold fine. And so will this. Its a Triple-A release with a solid multiplayer element with a dedicated fan base. There may be better games, but there are *definitely* worse. The advantage consoles have is that you have nothing to upgrade. $200 for the console and you're done.

    I grew up with Half-Life on PC. But really I wont buy PC games anymore unless they're exclusives. Too many variables and hardware. Too much hassle. I hope PC gaming makes a comeback, but Tablets, Next Gen consoles, and a divided PC market along with a poor economy is pretty much sealing its fate.

    My 2c, worth what you paid to read it.

    It's a situation where they would be damned if they do (people would complain about graphics and console porting) and damned if they don't (people would complain about them being lazy).

    At least Epic are being honest about focussing on the quick cash.

    I LOVE GoW and I have no problems with them just releasing it on xbox, just means that I'll have to sit on my comfy couch in front of my big tv and b&w speakers and blast some Locust!
