Early reports suggested that he had survived his heart attack and was alive but further investigation showed that the ambulance had said 'He arrive'.

Its no bad thing such a terrible man has left the world, but people should really keep in mind his son could be much worse! He has a lot to prove, and that's never good when we are talking about a nuclear armed power

Nuclear weapons? I'm not convinced that they have them to be honest. I mean they said they had them which probably means they don't.

Anyhoo. Apparently the new Dictator, sorry the 'Great Successor' (or whatever he may be naming himself) spent a couple of years at school in Switzerland and is a fan of basketball.

Then again Hitler liked animals. He didn't like sports though.

I don't know if Kim Jong Un likes animals

I think we can obviously draw several conclusions from those in depth facts.

That's the only good news I've ever heard about Kim Jong-Il.

Importantly, the word 'probably' has been used in the context of North Korea and nuclear weapons by the US military.

I know radionuclides do not have to be detected as confirmation of testing but I would have thought that NK would have made sure any test could have been detected by outside Nations and no radionuclides were present.

They do like a show afterall.

Considering the 'Intelligence' we used in the last war turned out to be, well, either complete lies or completely inept then I'm still not convinced to be honest.

I guess we won't know for certain until either the button is pressed or the UN teams can go in and check. Unfortunately, I can't see the UN getting an Access All Areas pass anytime soon.

I hope you are right, and in addition these have to be very low yield weapons, completely uncomparable to the warheads our trident system carries for example. However even if they are ultra low yeild they could make one hell of a mess of a SK village or military base and push the peninsular back into war.

So do I, although I can't say I've convinced myself enough not to be concerned about it.

Then again going by history there's only even been one Nation that has used them so far. Hopefully it remains that way.

According to news reports Kim Jong-il dictator of North Korea has died and been cremated. Those that attended the funeral stated the sun was shining but there was a little nip in the air.

I just hope the new guy starts feeding his population rather than feeding his military.

There are a few Western countries that could do with adopting that approach also.

Quite true, perhaps not quite on the same scale as a national famine though.
