So many trolls on bit tech these days, can't a man wish his daughter a happy birthday in the general section of his favourite tech forum without all the snide comments ??

As for the pedobear pictures, well !! Why don't you just put his picture on a nonce forum and be really evil and spiteful !!

I thought it was a funny response to a thread that shouldn't have ever been created, it should have just been a post in the 'what makes your life awesome' thread.

 

But that still doesnt give you lot a right to make snide comments and act like a bunch of pricks. Seriously you guys need to get a life and stop hiding behind your keyboards, the man was just wishing his kid a happy birthday. As for adding the paedo bear to this post your are sick you belong in 4chan not here. 90% of this community are pretty decent people and the last 10% just try to ruin it for others.

 

I hope you realise that there isn't much we can do about posting from behind our keyboards and I could rightly accuse you of doing the same thing. Would pistols at dawn suit you better?

No need to call us pricks, this just indicates that you can't think of a better argument and have had to resort to direct insults.

 

What I meant by hiding behind the keyboard is you wouldnt walk down a street and come out with comments about another mans child like that without fear of reprisal now why is it acceptable to do it on the internet unless you think your invincible hiding behind those keys.

Yes I agree its not the right place to put the post but neither is it ok for others to take an opportunity to bring the level of maturity of this post down to the same age as the little girl. I apologise for using the term loosely but Im a father of 2 myself and would be mortified and furious about someone trying to derail a post by using a picture of the paedo bear and others adding snide comments. In my book that is being a *****.

 

I can understand that you found it offensive but you should be able to joke about anything it just depends on context. I probably would make that joke with people I know but this is the internet and it is hard to show the context of a joke and most of us barely know each other.

I thought it was funny, others will also find it funny and others will be offended, can't please everyone and there will always be someone on this forum that doesn't like the joke.
