Love the look of those compression fittings also.

Ohhhhh I'm loving this so much my words are all over the place :D, so I'll just say this at this stage.

Case modding by the 1 & only Bill Owen [IMG]
Totally kickass paint job by the awesome Brad Galvin :jawdrop:
    Awesome cheapskate waterblock
Sleeving is looking perfect by Lutro0 & I agree what Nutman said about the paracord, plus it really looks excellent. :)
Quality system building to come from Darth Beavis :D
A brilliant load of vendors chipping in really nice parts :jawdrop::clap:
A truly awesome show of community spirit which is always an excellent thing to see. [IMG]

    So awesome :D:rock:

    FAST friggen thread, Man!
Freaky looking fittings, Darth. I really like the white ones.

-Last cut on the waterblock. John, I may need you to ship some of those diapers you were joking about. Changing the pulleys to max the grab and slowing to .18 IPM didn't keep it from binding four times. I'm sure yo can imagine the monkey frantically punching arrow keys and chewing on the carpet with his butt.
-The edges of the slots are uneven. Now you know why professionally made ones are sometimes off. This stuff requires more torque than my little rig can handle.
-Oh, and there's no way I can clean 'em up. :D I was so frazzled by the end that I totally didn't see that screw until it was too late. Hey, that saw was shot anyway.
-The good news is that it really doesn't show thanks to the side channels. Performance should be on par with my AMD block.:thumb:

It is zooming forward fast now, I even missed the paint update post until just earlier. :D

Cheaps I like the totally faint & totally insignifficant imperfections that you can't even see anyway, makes it all the more hand made. :)

Looks excellent quality mate. :D:dremel::clap: rep

Hey, i was just wondering what i need to do to get my name added to the list of Sponsors? I mean i am spending time and money for the grills, though its not like i cut each hex out by hand or anything. I actually have a team of mice that do it for me, monkeys were too high in labor costs as they got tired of bananas after a while.

Wow... without internet for 2 days and this thread is huge!
I'm quite impressed with both the quality and speed that this is moving along with. The willingness to help is amazing, from not only the community of modders, but also manufacturer sponsors!

In my opinion with the fans having a blue glow, the water block and pump a blue tint and the mobo blue and white, I would 100 percent go for white tubes with red fittings... you know it makes sense, just picture it in your head.

It's my 2nd post in this thread but I wanted to say that to us lot that can't mod but love looking at other peoples work, this is something amazing to watch. So many willing to help and restoring faith that people are decent after all and won't just sit and take take take all their lives but give give give and then some. Really pleased to be watching this unfold and to see how things work out. #Take a bow son...take a bow#

    @cheaps, no word from Paslis.

My original intention was to mount a 280 radiator on the ceiling, but 30mm of space between ceiling and motherboard would have made internal access miserable. Mounting a radiator in the bezel would mean sacrificing the entire HD column, so installing a 240 radiator in the floor was the most logical solution. This requires modifying the bottom of HD column to accommodate the radiator. Here is some photos I'd taken during this process. The HD column was repainted Matte White, to match the interior of the Define R3.
