Yea, it's aspect ratio's. Once you get used to 16:10, as you were, it's a bit hard to go down to 16:9, unless you jump to a 27inch, due to the massively high resolution.
I've used a 24" 16:10 at work and everytime I sit in front of it, I feel like I'm in heaven. Now to convince my wallet I'm doing it a favour by spending £800 on a screen.
I paid £800 for the Dell 27" the one in my sig dont regret it for a moment love it, Mind they can be got a fair bit less now.
