So had my much loved Razer Lachesis from when it was realeased in 2007 and has just stared to show its age.

When i move the pointer now its no longer a smooth action but more jerky, it goes in a straght line but its almost like the lazer is going on and off very fast.

Iv cleaned the lazer with a cotton bud but with not diffrance... i got the latest firmware and drivers installed.

Unplugging it and plugging in back in seems to help, but will go back to the same problem after a while.

Any tips? or is it time for a new Razer?
    Cheers :thumb:

If you've had it for that many years, it sounds to me like it's time is up. A sad reality that we must all contend with at some point, all the more terrible for us who have already found their perfect mouse! I haven't so I'm just fine :)

Ur laser sensor maybe overheating which was a issue with some older Razer mouses

If you don't need it any more could I have it? I am just really curious to try out the shape of a Lachesis :)

Sorry don't mean to sound like a scavenger or anything ;P
